Daily Sport revamp targets 'the boys'

The daily sport newspaper is changing is primary target to "the boys". It is attempting to be a mix between Nuts, Zoo, Bravo and sky sports.

I find this story significant as it showing that for a paper to be successful, it must target certain audiences and show certain imagery. This re-inforces a patriarchal ideology and shows men to be the more important sex as this paper is being made specially for them. As nuts, zoo, bravo and sky sports are already very successful, trying to follow in their footsteps shows a change in trend of what people like to view and again is showing a patriarchal ideology
